Wrap-up: “Bathtub Gin” feat. Moscow Mule @ Studio Gallery

The selfish part of me is telling me not to write this. It’s telling me to keep this little gem to myself. But there is a special place in heaven for those who share good music and good times, so I acquiesce.

So here is the scoop. Every other Wednesday, some great Omaha musicians are gathering at Studio Gallery at 4965 Dodge Street for a low-key evening of jazz and rock. Studio Gallery’s basement provides a speakeasy atmosphere, which is supplemented by the encouragement to bring your own booze. I suggest filling up a couple growlers at your favorite brewpub. Or you could delve even deeper into the theme and mix up the classic cocktails that inspired the evening.

While listening to The Manhattan Jazz Group, made up of Andrew Bailie, Nick Semrad and Derek Matthews, you can mix up a Manhattan with whiskey, bitters and vermouth. Then after the artists play musical chairs to form the rock band Moscow Mule (Bailie, Matthews, Ben Zinn and Seth Ondracek), you can whip out your copper cup, vodka, lime juice and ginger beer to make the drink of the same name.

The next show starts at 9 p.m. this Wednesday (Feb. 23rd). A donation (suggested $8) will get you in the door. The intimate atmosphere only allows seating for a couple dozen people, but a large screen also displays the show on the main floor where you can also check out some art. So get out those fedoras, flapper outfits and trench coats and come on down!

The purpose of your website can be great for my students. A lot of great resources are free in here. Initially, I have introduced your website to my students in my class, so don’t be confused if your website hits are increase dramatically. I discuss many topics, still debating in every aspect that can be debated, and at the end of my class (every week), I told them about the conclusion of your topic. Hot topic and atmosphere can be fun here. And then, you might be surprised that my students got new story every day, and also all of them can express their idea in home and school. Especially they told to her/his mom/dad, that they learnt many topics from teacher that learnt from you. Surprisingly that everyone wants to get new challenge in your idea, and then when I give new topic, it can be challenging for all of my students.
