A near full-house packed the Waiting Room last Friday as Noah’s Ark Was A Spaceship celebrated the release of their debut LP Hanga-Fang, out now on Slumber Party Records. NAWAS were cool and comfortable on stage, but also full of ravaging angst. They even mocked themselves (and everyone else who loves to tag them with a ’90s alternative-revival label) by playing a sloppy-as-hell cover of “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” The funny thing was the crowd ate it up.

Buy their record, folks.
