Omaha Celebrates Cinco de Mayo
Last Saturday, May 7th, the South 24th Street business district was alive and thriving with food, drink, music, dancing, street vendors and carnival rides as the city of Omaha threw a party to help the flowing crowds of people celebrate Mexican heritage and pride. Omahype was there milling about, with a plate of tacos (al pastor, cilantro, onion and all the fixins) in one hand and an ice cold Tecate with salt and lime in the other. Life’s good basking in the warm South O sun.
