LISTEN: Mid-Best Podcast interviews Omahype
Recently, Omahype editor Will Silvey Simons and longtime Omahype contributor Jim Brazda met in the basement of some guy’s house near Peony Park. There, the two sat down with a case of Miller Lite placed in front of them and were interviewed by two other guys for their new podcast, the Mid-Best Podcast. The two interviewees turned out to be none other than standup local standups Zach Peterson and Ian Douglas Terry (the other guy/producer and homeowner turned out to be their cohort Eric Brouillette) – three of the people behind creating a nurturing and hopefully long-lasting comedy scene in Omaha.
On the show, they discussed Omahype’s past, present and future and also its decision to champion Omaha comedy. And also the Fast and the Furious film franchise. And also taco trucks.
