Omahype contributor April Faith-Slaker not only found the time to perform during multiple sets of last Sunday’s 2nd Annual Holiday Throwdown at Slowdown, she also brought her camera along and snapped the following photos. In all, it was a fantastic night of Xmas cheer, great music, one-of-kind goods from local entrepreneurs and, of course, AMAZING food from Blue Sushi and Roja Mexican Grill.     April's set (with Aetherplough) may have been my favorite performance of the night. Loved the crazy drum solo section!
