“Oscar Shorts!” returning to Film Streams
As in years past, Film Streams will screen the batch of short films currently nominated for Academy Awards, including best Animated, best Live-Action and best Documentary. Each category will have its own feature length program, according to a press release, opening Friday, February 10th.
This is Film Streams’ fifth year in a row offering ”Oscar Shorts!,” one of the art house theater’s most popular first-run programs each year. And like previous years, ballots will be available to the audience to pick their favorite shorts and see how their picks fare against the actual winners on the February 26th Academy Awards telecast.
