NEW VIDEO: “It’s My Part” by Jonquil
UK-based four-piece Jonquil takes a stab at spinning pizzas and mechanical bull riding in their video for “It’s My Part,” the first single off their forthcoming album Point of Go, about February 21st on Dovecote Records. At its core, Jonquil employ sorrowful dance-pop in the song, complimenting their Euro stylings with rhythms and lead lines drawing influence heavily from Afropop.
Unfortunately the closest these guys are coming to Omaha is a show April 6th at Grinnell College in Iowa. (They’ll also be in Kansas City for the Middle of the Map Festival on April 7th.) If you’re heading to Austin for SXSW duties, you can catch them there as well.
