Saddle Creek: Pre-order back-issued Bright Eyes LPs, new Cursive album ready to ship
People proud of their hometown heroes rejoice! Saddle Creek Records announced that they are ready to ship Cursive‘s seventh studio album, I Am Gemini and that they’re taking pre-orders for Bright Eyes‘ first six studio albums, freshly-reissued.
I Am Gemini, Cursive’s latest record since 2009′s Mama, I’m Swollen is a concept album about twin brothers. One brother is good and the other is evil. The album follows their reunion and ongoing struggles. While it won’t be released until February 21st, you can order it now on Saddle Creek’s website in three different bundle options.
Bright Eyes’ first six albums, some of which were previously out of print and hard to find, are being rereleased on 180-gram vinyl over a two-month span. Starting March 6th with their 1998 debut, A Collection of Songs, and their EP with Son, Ambulance, Oh Holy Fools, diehard fans can expand their vinyl collections with “classic” Bright Eyes. But if you don’t want to wait for each to come out separately, you can pre-order all the albums on Saddle Creek’s website. By bundling them, you’ll save a bunch of money (a mere $99 in total, including shipping) and get the first two records shipped out on February 21st.
