New Video: SATURDAY VIDEO: “Vanishers” by Expensive Looks
Expensive Looks (New York-based producer Alec Feld) premieres a new video for “Vanishers,” a track off EL’s debut album Dark Matters (out now on Group Tightener). It’s no secret that Feld is heavily influenced by electronic music. And it’s apparent in “Vanishers,” where psychedelia meshes with samples soaking in reverb, growing layer by layer into a complex, rhythmic — albeit trippy as hell — dance track, complete with the obligatory breakdown and build-up, all brought to life in the video through the dreamworld of a little girl fleeing from the ills of a broken home.
