Son Volt
Son Volt is spearheaded by none other than Jay Farrar, one of the leaders of the alt-country movement in the early ’90s when he (along with childhood friend Jeff Tweedy) sang and wrote songs for now-legendary band Uncle Tupelo. To date, Farrar and Son Volt have released eight albums since their inception in 1994.
