From directors Vanessa Roth and Brian McGinn. Through facts, interviews and shadowing the lives of four teachers, this 2011 documentary attempts to tell the collective story of the 3.2 million teachers in American. A post-show discussion will be moderated by UNO’s Dr. Nancy Edick and features Nebraska State Senator Brenda Council and fourth grade teacher Maddie Fennell — who is also the chair of the National Commission on Effective Teachers and 2007 Nebraska Teacher of the Year.
