Looking for the perfect event to take your sweetheart to for Valentine’s? Or maybe something fun to do with friends? Look no further than this cool — and ridiculously affordable — event Opera Omaha is throwing at House of Loom on February 2nd: A Mixer in Mad Style. Sure, $20 might sound a little pricey — until you realize that $20 gets you: entry to the event, two classic cocktails in ‘50s style and light hors d’oeuvres while you’re listening to live music and DJs spinning 50′s music, and a ticket to Opera Omaha’s The Marriage Contract, which opens the following Friday, February 17th. It’s like 2 events for the very low price of one. Oh, one more thing — all attendees will be entered to win a diamond from Borsheims valued at over $2,000.
So don your best Don and Betty Draper attire and head on down to Loom. The best outfits will win prizes. And somebody’s gonna win a diamond.
