Pub Quiz
Back before anyone was worried about the 49′r Lounge being razed to make way for a cookie-cutter CVS (…sigh), the 9′r hosted one of the biggest, baddest and drunkest weekly pub quizzes in Omaha. As we hold on to our memories of our favorite gone-but-not-forgotten watering hole (e.g. the “Howard Street” neon sign behind the bar at Slowdown or the Mike Loftus painting currently hanging on my living room wall), the folks behind the 49′r pub quiz (Chris Larkin and Alex Franz, above) now set up shop Tuesday nights at the Sydney in Benson.
