More info (courtesy TCRA):
The Tiny Car Racing Association (formerly known as the Hot Wheels Racing League), brings together racing enthusiasts and the cars they loved as kids. Each week drivers burn rubber down the iconic orange gravity tracks, facing off side by side to see whose car will take the prize of the night. These mini-racers earn points each week depending on where they place in the weekly event, and then at the end of the 4-week season, a championship race will determine a winner who will receive up to a $1000 grand prize, and the title of the TCRA Champion. Drivers and spectators can enjoy an evening of exciting racing, raffle prizes, food, and beverages. Sign up costs $10 and each week has a $2 racing fee. There is no cover charge and the event is open to the public. For questions or information email: tinycarracing@gmail.com – or check out the TCRA Facebook group for pictures, video, and random smack talk. The cars may be tiny, but the competition is huge!
