“To Live Forever: Egyptian Treasures from the Brooklyn Museum”
This highly-anticipated exhibit focuses on all aspects of the mummification process — from the ancient culture’s beliefs to their rituals to the contents of the tombs of the deceased. On view will be “elaborate stone and painted wood sarcophagi, gold, statutes, jewelry, shrouds, mummification tools” and more, according to a press release.
Joslyn Art Museum hosts many special events relating to the exhibit as well.
