Zones: Works by Mitchell Dose
From the Facebook invitation:
Mitchell Dose creates work that plays with the function of an object, the purpose of a place or the habits within a situation. The works serve as an outlet for remediated potential; plaster is poured into marginal spaces, birds are offered a place to rest, a fence is heard singing. Covering a cross spectrum between directly useful and merely theoretical, and between abstraction and engineering, the works manifest as objects, drawings, performances and video.
In “Zones,” Dose examines places of purpose from multiple angles and what is considered as possible.
